Has anyone else had any problems with Document Approvals?
Our company is running NAV 2013, and we are using document approvals for Sales Invoices. NAV is sending email notifications perfectly for approval requests and rejections, but for some reason, no email is being sent when the Sales Invoice has been approved.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure in Approval Setup in the User setup you have filled Email and SMTP is setup properly, one other thing is you need to setup the mail template in the approval setup.

If you are expecting that the user/requestor will receive an email saying that his order such and such is approved, you have to build this (customize). NAV was designed not to flood users with unnecessary emails. If I am the user and I send for example a Sales Invoice for approval, the status of the Sales Invoice is Pending Approval. I will know it has been approved if the Status shows released.
Again, if there is a need to prompt the user that his documents have been approved this needs to be built by a developer.
Yes, I am able to see approval entries for the sales invoices. Also, there are no other enabled approval templates with table 36 and "approver" as the approval type. "S-Invoice" is the only approval template we have enabled.
