Posting profile - AR module foreign revaluation

Hello All,

May I know what is the use of the Posting profile on the foreign currency revaluation form? (AR>Periodic>Foreign currency revaluation).

I understand that the posting profile does not limit the main account to be included in the revaluation.

So, what is the use of this posting profile?.

RE: Posting profile - AR module foreign revaluation

    Hi,

It defines the summary account to which the foreign currency gain/loss is posted.

In case you want to have the FX gain/loss posted on a separate (sub) account that is different from you ordinary AR summary account that you use for invoicing your customers, you can setup a separte (sub) account in a specific posting profile and select the posting profile in this form.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
