Hi Everyone
I have a problem where attachments are not showing for some people , i for example can't see the attachment but some of my colleagues can .
Does anyone know why this would happen?

Hi All,
There are a couple of places to check if the attachment is missing at the Header level. (The paperclip in the upper right corner):
-Check the Purchase Req / Purchase Order line under Purchase Order Line > attachments to see if the attachment exists.
-Check to see if the attachment was attached as something other than a File. We've had instances where users attach a .pdf file as an Image instead of File and it cannot be seen at the Header level. (strange but true!)
Another tip in regards to Posted documents that do not allow an attachment after Posting - as a System Admin, you can go to Organization Administration > Document management > Active document tables and select the table name (i.e. Ledger journal table) and tick the 'Always enabled' box to allow attachments after posting.
Thanks
Hi Martin,
I am experiencing the same issue. The attachment is gone when I send the PO Invoice for approval through workflow. Were you able to find a resolution on this?
Hi Martin,
Can you check if the attachment was linked on a purchase order line, instead of the header?
Sukrut - I Have System Admin Rights
Andre - Its on the Purchase Order Screen , when sent to an approver , the approver cant see the screenshot
Kaled - My Techinal expertice isnt great, since its D365 should there be a cloud folder somewhere ? Where can one see that?
Douglas - Its not showing, I was with the client when she attached the document to the purchase order , and when i goes through workflow to the next user for approval the attachement is not there , I Have included the Screnshot in the orignal post
Hi Martin,
one question: what exact do you mean with 'are not showing'
?
Do you speak about opening an attached file from the document entry itself (is there any error message in that case?) or is the document entry itself not visible (shown)?
Maybe you can share some hardcopies. This will it make more clear.
This would help us to help you.
regards Douglas
Dear,
Make sure the attachments are not created from a source (path) you cannot reach/redirect
Thank you,
Hi Martin,
On what form(s) do you have this behavior? Do you and your colleagues do have the same security role(s)?
Do you have any security role assigned to yourself ?
