Revive warehouse process enables item in non enabled warehouse !

I have received an item with storage dimension group warehouse process checked, in a warehouse which doesn't warehouse management process checked.

is this a normal behavior? I'm use ax 2012 CU9.

Yes this is possible. You can also setup storage dimension groups manually to look the same. Only to be able to use the WMS R3 functionality the storage dimension group with warehouse management process enabled is required. Then also on the warehouse itself it must be enabled.

from warehouse enabled warehouse management to warehouse doesn't enabled warehouse management ?

my current solution i want to make store with warehouse doesn't enabled warehouse management process. i want to make the retail process without warehouse mangment process

this is correct ?

You cannot process this transfer order with WMS process. This order will not appear in load planning workbench. If the warehouse enabled check mark is not selected.

Also for replenishment it will not work if this check mark is not selected. Better use new WMS introduced in R3.

Hi Farouk,

The new WMS in R3 has the capability to use Transfer orders from a WMS controlled warehouse to a non WMS controlled warehouse. This is the recommended procedure for retail stores as there is no WMS support for retail.

Hi Farouk,

It's definitely allowed to use an item which is enabled for warehouse management processes in a warehouse that is not. Everything I've read from MS says this is the correct way to set up a distribution center / retail store scenario - the important thing being that the retail store warehouse should not be enabled for warehouse management processes, because this has not been designed to work (yet).
