Dynamics 365 and the surface Pro X

Installed the app tonight on my new Pro X, it opens and closes within seconds. No error message or anything. I uninstalled and reinstalled and received the same results. Looking at the specs there is now reason it shouldn't work.

Any help is appreciated!

Hi partner,

As I know, surface pro x is using win 10 home now, so what's the app did you install? Did you search the Dynamics 365 in Microsoft Store like this?

What's the type of D365 are you using? Dynamics 365 CRM or Dynamics 365 F&O? Online or On-premise?

I apologize for the vagueness, I forgot there are a bunch of dynamics apps.

It's the first one on the list you shared. Regular Dynamics 365. It's not loading the login or server website screen. It's just opening a window and closing itself.

We run dynamics On-Premise off our own server, the app works find on my surface pro 3.

Hi, I am also having this problem - downloaded and installed the "Dynamics 365" App from the Store. Starts to open but then closes - after it closes I can still see the "Dynamics 365 (32 bit)" process running in Task Manager. It is a Surface Pro X running Windows 10 Pro. Any advice on how to get this to work would be welcome, thank you.

Hi All,

Anyone here who can guide me here? I am trying to use the app in offline mode currently the app in the Microsoft store doesn't allow that.. is there an alternative Microsoft dynamics app that I can use which can allow me to switch to the offline mode?
