Microsoft Dynamics 365 Office Add-in (version 7.1.26096.01) stopped persisting login sessions

Every time users Open in Excel the have to sig-in to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Office Add-in.  Previously this was not the case.  After some researh it may have been caused by an upgrade.  While users can still work, this is causing a lot of extra clicks.  Please explain.
