Hello guys,

We are currently deploying automatic export from D365 FO to an Azure data lake.

We want to restrict access to the data lake to only public facing IP of D365 FO.

It seems that there is not tag associated with the tool yet, can someone please confirm what ip ranges do we have to whitelist for allowing D365 to export data to our data lake ?

It's not related to user access but for the D365 application to be allowed access to the data lake firewall.

Therefore I want to know what IP ranges to whitelist in the data lake firewall.

HI bertrandblanjacquier,

I think you need to whitelist all IP addresses of the Azure data region where the D365 is hosted. And also the secondary region I would say. These lists also keep changing, so it must be a dynamically updated rule.

I've also heard some people developing customizations where a batch runs in D365 periodically, calling some web service which returns the caller IP, and then they use this IP in the firewall rules via automation.

But either case, it's not a static thing that you can just setup and forget.
