Item transfer adjustment to projects using Project management

Dear Members,

I need to transfer one Inventory Item (Item 1) to all the projects since we have created multiple projects using project management in Business Central. For instance, Project A, B, and C were created. I'm familiar with using project journals to transfer the item to each project individually - first opening Project A, then transferring the item, and subsequently doing the same for Project B and C. Is it possible to utilize Item journals to adjust the items for all projects? Or is there any standard functionality accessible to transfer the Item to all the Projects? Please help to resolve this.

Thanks in Advance,
Sneha

    Hi
I don't think I can recall any other way, I hope other experts can contribute some other comments, this link indicates the way of working with the journal that you mentioned.

You can also propose some new idea and it is possible that they will take it into account for future versions, if they reach the appropriate vote.

In Business Central, you cannot directly use Item Journals to transfer items to multiple projects at once. However, the standard approach is to use Job Journals or Job Planning Lines to transfer items to individual projects, as you're already doing.

Unfortunately, there is no out-of-the-box functionality to transfer an item to multiple projects in one go. You will need to transfer the item to each project separately using the Job Journal for each project (A, B, C). You might consider customization if this is a frequent requirement to automate or batch these transfers.
