how to enable extended pricing in GP?

Hi, I've been looking the way to enable extended pricing in GP. I know it's in setting > sales > extended pricing and just pick one option... that's what every article I found says... but my problem is the choice of extended pricing is grey out, I have no way to click on it. Anyone know why? Thank you

Are you logged on as a PowerUser? My apologies I did  not read your entire comment. I cannot think of anything else that would be blocking this setting.

Are you registered for Extended Pricing? What GP Version/Licensing are you on? It's an ala carte item in Advanced Mgmt, not available in Business Essentials.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. we are using Dynamics GP 2010 version 11.00.1935 (SP2). i think Frank is right, we probably didn't register for it yet. Does it come as default feature? or do we need to purchase license for it? thanks!

If you go to Tools->Setup->System->Registration is Extended Pricing checked?

Hi Richard, I do not have Extended Pricing on the list.

I think Frank is corrrect here. Extended Pricing is only available with GP Professional and GP Advanced Management. If you go into CustomerSource for what version of GP does it show you are licensed? Extended Pricing is now part of GP 2013 with just the starter pack so perhaps an upgrade to GP 2013 may be your resolution.
