show Description field from Opportunity Close entity as a column in "My Closed Lost Opportunity" view

Hope I am not the first one asking this question.

When a sales person set an Opportunity to Closed Lost, he/she would need to fill out a few fields of the Opportunity Close form.

But when I review all my closed lost opportunities, I would like to see the value of Description to better understand more detail behind each lost case.

On the view, I clicked on Edit column and couldn't find Description from the related entity.  Actually, Opportunity Close is not available as an related ..

So is there an easy way to achieve it?

Or, is there a better practice?  Kindly advise.

Thanks!

    Hi Logan W,

    The Description is one filed in the opportunity close entity, you can't add it in the opportunity view directly.

    But you can see it's value in the opportunity view through the following way:

    (1)Create one custom description field(Multiple Lines of Text) in the opportunity and add it to the opportunity view.

    (2)Using flow to populate new description field with value from description field of opportunity close automatically.

    (3)Test and Results:

    ===================

    Note:

    On the view, I clicked on Edit column and couldn't find Description from the related entity.  Actually, Opportunity Close is not available as an related ..Why?

    The opportunity and opportunity close is 1:N relationship, so opportunity close is child entity for opportunity.

    In the opportunity view, you can only add columns from the related parent entity and not from the child entities.
