If Microsoft have the possitbility to give a GUID - as one ID that shows both Date of birth and Business unit in the same URL

Hi , 

I need to know if Microsoft have the possitbility to give a GUID - as one ID that shows both Date of birth and Business unit in the same URL 

I also wonder if you can help me with this following questions:

1. Can Dynamics create ID per customer(date of birth/personnumber) + business unit /bank relationship 

2. Can Dynamics post id to Java - ms

3. Can Dynamics use ID in URL?

    Hi Diana,

    yes it possible, you have to choose the fields (example:  dateofbirth+bakrelationship) as an alternate key!

    I am not sure if I understand your answer :)

    My question is it possible to use a GUID / ID to lookup a customer + business unit through an API ? :)

    Hi @Diana,

    the CRM's GUID has it's own format:

    https://www.powerobjects.com/blog/2018/08/30/guids-dynamics-365/

    GUID is used as record reference for the URL. URL structure:

    *https://company.crm4.dynamics.com/main.aspx?appid=21a3baf2-98f5-e811-a966-000d3a3a81d3&pagetype=entityrecord&etn=account&id=a819201d-5a1d-e911-a971-000d3a3a829c*

    In the above example if you paste the URL in your browser it will open an account record  in your Unified Interface App.
