AX 365 : How to merge ledger and financial dimensions using X++ code in AX 7 ?

In AX 2012 Merging ledger and financial dimensions was done using DimensionDefaultingService::serviceCreateLedgerDimension method.

DimensionDefaultingService does not exist anymore in AX 7. Any Idea on how to proceed with AX7 / AX 365 ?

    Hi Nathanael

    The serviceCreateLedgerDimension  method has been moved to the LedgerDimensionFacade class. In fact, most of the methods which were in DimensionDefaultingService can be found in the LedgerDimensionFacade class in AX 7.

    Cool and what about default dimension merge?

    in AX 2012 you have DimensionDefaultingService::serviceMergeDefaultDimensions

    Take a look at LedgerDimensionDefaultFacade class. ServiceMergeDefaultDimensions method.

    I was involved in a project and there was a requirment to create all journals via excel import and that was new in AX to import excel (without legal entity) and generate financial dimension.
