Unable to run GP as Administrator

I ran into a strange issue during a GP Client install. I was logged on as a administrator and the Setup went fine. When running GP Utilities as Administrator it runs and checks the DB fine. When selecting the button to Launch GP I get "Unknown dictionary error"

I am able to Run GP and login without error if I do not right click and run as administrator.

Any ideas?

    Hello

Make sure that the paths to the dictionary files in the Dynamics.set file on the local computer are correct. Also checkout any third party products that are installed, that may be an issue.

Thanks David,  We have no third parties and the paths are currect.  I tried going to the default set file too that was created before I pointed to the modified reports.

The strange thing is if you just select GP Icon and do not right click and run as admin your all set.   We only noticed it because we ran GP utilities as administrator so GP would not launch after utilites ran

Hmmmm. Could be version issues, are the service packs the same?

    Hi Ford,

Please refer the below link regarding "Unknown dictionary error"

The paths and security are fine.   This only happens if you right click on the icon and select Run as Administrator.   GP opens without error running as users that are not even local admins on the PC.

You would want to do a process monitor log for this.
