Error: Connection references are already being used

I tried creating a provider definition logic definition for one of my provider definitions which does not have any prior logic definitions or connection references. 
Yet it was throwing this error. Is there any way we can specify the system to use the connection reference that we manually create from the provider definition?

    When creating your Flow for your Logic Definition, on the Dataverse steps (Perform Unbound Action, etc..) you will need to click on the 3 dots, and create a new connection reference. You can then use that new one on all of the other steps in your Flow. This should resolve this error.
