Nothing happens when l hit a 'Cancel Approval Request' button

Users wanted to revise SQ so they just hit the button like they used to do but it doesn't work, nothing happens.
this problem happened a few times, tried debugging but it's difficult to find out though.

What should l do?
Could anyone advise me?

If it used to work and isn't anymore, it's likely one of two issues:

You've upgraded to a new build of NAV 2016 and there is a bug related to approvals in this build. If so, take a look at the list of Released Cumulative Updates for NAV 2016 to check if this is a known issue, and if Cumulative Updates subsequent to the build you're on have addressed this issue.

You've had a recent customization or installed an ISV add-on and its code (or the process of merging code) has inadvertently affected the approvals functionality.

If you're 100% sure that neither has happened between the time when everything was working correctly with approvals and now, then try restarting the NAV service(s), and see if that helps.

As a last resort, you may want to open a support case with Microsoft.
