Signing Limits in Different Legal Entities

Is it possible to set up signing limits so that in different legal entities users at the same level would have different limits. We are using a global expense workflow across all legal entities with the same signing limits. However, now some entities want to increase the signing limits. Is this possible?

    In a previous project we had a similar request, but they wanted to do Signing limits per Company and per Financial dimensions. It is doable, however requires a lot of customizations, since by default the HRP*Limit* tables are shared across legal entities. We also had to write a custom hierarchy provider class structure for the workflow engine.

    Hi Bruce,

    Maybe I am missing something here but I thing it is possible to do it without any customization. You just need to go to Organization Administration and setup the signing limits parameters per company: when you create a new policy, you drag only the legal entity you want on the right and repeat it for all the legal entities you want.

    Then, you link the Process of the position you attach in Human Resources to a Signing/Approval limit you want: in this way the same process can be potentially different in all companies, same in only some of the companies or even different in all the companies.
