Clear usage data on specific report in AX2012

Hi,

We ve a couple of users in the organization (AX2012 R3) that when they run the Supplier transactions report it comes up with wrong data. Other users in the same organization see the right data. We've tried clearing the parameters on the report and the selection criteria and the problem persist. We want to clear usage data just in that report because their environments are highly customized and we don't want to lose that. Anyone knows how to do that?

Hi CapsLock,

If you open System administration - Users - Find needed user - click Options button - click Usage data button - Switch to "All usage data" you can find the list of all settings saved for the user. In this form, you can filter records by system element name, find all records related to your report and delete them.

Hi CapsLock,

Can you also tell what exactly you mean with "comes up with wrong data"? If it is related to the number of records, is there any security policy active? (e.g. global address book security or another XDS policy)

Hi Andre,

What I mean with that sentence is that for a couple of users the report came up with one less column, didn´t show all suppliers and the suppliers included in the report didn´t show all transactions.

Hi ,

In AX 2012 if we have to clear the usage then you have to go to AOT and then follow the below steps :-

1) Go to Options

2) Select Development Tab and then on the top you will see Usage button.

3) Select all the places where you want the usage to be reset.

4) Click Ok.

Although if you have an issue where data is wrong. You have to check the DP class logic through Debugger and also clear the AppData folder by going to command prompt and then type "%temp% ".

Delete all the contents and restart SSRS service.

Hi Andre, we couldn´t find the elements for the report we were struggling with on that form that Sergei explained but it was very useful to learn that you can delete and see usage data for other users.
