Fixed assets moved to a new cost center

Hi, 

I need to move a fixed assets to a new cost center - fin dim. The asset already had acquisition trx and depreciation. However, we need to start the new depreciation trx with a new cost center.

If we try the mass update ,and define the new cost center, the system is creating transfer vouchers. We don't want that to happen. Is it a setup related issue? or is it working as designed?

    Hello Sam,

    If only future transactions should be affected from the change in the findims, wouldn't it be sufficient to change the default findims at the book/value model level?

    Hi-Yes, it is, however I like to do a mass change. if not available in FA module,we will use the data management tool.

    Hi Sam,

    I would try doing this update with the Dixf/data management tool. Seems to be the fastest and easiest way to me.
