what is the purpose of fixed asset physical inventory worksheet report in the asset module , and how we can use it?

Hi ahmed.kimo,
You can use this report for supporting a physical fixed asset counting - similar to what companies do for their inventories.
I have not seen too many companies using this Report. Yet, probably just take a look if you can use it when you physically count your fixed assets.

from technical point of you it's ok but what about the functionality , how it works
it was 2 questions , what is the purpose of this report (this is answered) , still i need to know for the business users how they can use this report?
You can print it as a counting list that you give the people who actually do the physical fixed asset counting.
This list gives them an indication where certain fixed assets shall be located.
They can then make notes on the list and return it to the fixed asset department that uses those 'counted' lists for making adjustments to the fixed assets such as moving them from one department to the other.

Can you please give me one scenario to fill data to be shown in this report ?
Imagine that you print the report by physical location and that it shows a computer in office no. 123.
When the People who do the physical stock counting walk around with the list, they notice that the computer is actually located in office 321.
Then can then make a remark on the report and Hand it back to the fixed asset department.
The fixed asset department can then initiate a movement of the computer from office location no. 123 to no. 321 in AX.
Can you please explain me which transactions/Actions i have to enter then it will come to this report,for example inventory to fixed assets or asset transfer ...etc
