Employee Salary in D365 HR (merged with F&O)

Hi all,

for a client i need to define in the HR module (embedded in F&O) the employee salary. The business requirement is to define per each Grade just a maximum and a minimum bracket but then associate to each employee a specific salary amount (for example: John Smith and Arnold Potter belong to the Grade 2, but one earns 42,000 $ whereas the other earns 42,345$-consider the same scenario applied to 2000 employees).
In D365, through the fixed compensation plan, you can associate the employee with the amounts defined in the compensation structure , without enter a “free” amount.

is there any possibility to manage this requirement through the standard functionalities, or a customization is needed ?

thank you for your support.

    Thank you very much,

i solved the issue. I used the "Step" as a level type and the pay rate field was totally blocked. By using "Grade" it works properly.

    Hi Claude,

Where you able to generate the payroll earnings statement for this salaried employee? I am facing difficulty while generating earning statements the error says "selection criteria did not return any result"

Did i miss some link in setup between payroll and HR in D365 F&O?
