AX 2012 R3 Training

My background in AX 2012 R3 is primarily SCM and Manufacturing. I have very little to no experience in the Financial Modules, including Projects. My company in Houston, Texas has agreed to send me to the MS boot camp in Fargo, ND for extensive training. My boss came to me and asked if there was any additional training that would be beneficial to me. I understand the boot camp training is the highest level of training Microsoft offers. However, I was unsure if anyone else is aware of any additional training that would benefit me? I told him the only other option is certification in the Financial and Project modules. However, my concern is that since I do not have a background in Accounting , these would be tough to obtain. What are your thoughts?

Hi,

On the bootcamp, you only learn how to use AX. If you don't have an accounting background a training related to accounting principles and (tax) regulations would be recommended.
