Hi All,

How can we add legal entity in to the Fiscal calendar.

Were trying to perform year end closing  , when clicked on 'Run Fiscal Close' the fiscal calendar is showing with out legal entity.

Seeking communities expertise in resolving this basic hicc-up that we are facing please.

    Hello NamDyn,

Do the legal entities have the calendar attached in the ledger form or do they possibly have another one attached?

Can this be a user rights issue that you simply lack sufficient rights?

Would be great if you could share some additional information.

    Many thanks,

    Ludwig

    Hi Dr.

Legal entities has the same calendar attached in the ledger form.

Admin user with all rights are facing this issue.

We had done below detailed steps :-

General ledger> Ledger setup> General ledger parameters

General ledger> Posting setup> Accounts for automatic transactions

Main account listed for Year-end result automatic transaction=Retained Earnings A/C

Checked  General ledger> Calendars> Fiscal calendars

Clicked on New year and the new fiscal calendar creation

Now as final step for year end closing , when tried  General ledger> Period close> Year end close, after creating group name Under 'year end close' there after  we can not select the legal entity.

Any info. would help us to fix . Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Does your fiscal year run from January to December?

If this is the case then I would expect that you run the fiscal year close in period 12 (December) and not in the first period.

Please have a look at the following sites:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../close-general-ledger-at-period-end

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hey NamDyn,

To get the missing legal entities to appear, click on Year-end close > click on Year-end close template setup in the upper left action pane > New > add legal entity name in Group name > select the same Fiscal calendar as the rest of the legal entities (if that's what you want) > Add legal entity as defined.

    Thanks
