while creating purchase invoice through product receipts, system is showing following message:

the inventory quantity to match for product receipt zzz item xxx cannot be reserved

how to resolve

    Can you please provide the screenshot what product receipt have you selected on Invoice posting form?

    found the solution:

    goto Accounts payable > Inquiries > History > invoice history and matching details

    search for Purchase order number and delete Ctrl+F9

    try again and it will be posted
