How do I change activity views so that they are list views and not this calendar view?

We use Dynamics 365 Sales Professional.  On every activity page it shows them as a calendar which all my employees hate.  Take this one for example when clicking the Activities button on the menu which goes to the default My Activities:

How do I change this so it's just a list view?  Someone previously sent me this link https://reenhanced.com/2020/how-to-add-calendar-control-to-a-view-in-dynamics-365-ce/ saying that's how but that doesn't work, that seems to be to ADD a calendar, but even if I follow these steps and edit the view in classic and click custom controls like it says, it already has read only grid selected and NO mention of calendar.  How on earth do I turn this annoying calendar off so that it shows always as just a proper list?

Right now you have to click these 3 dots, go to Show More, and then Read Only Grid which is 3 separate clicks and hidden in a menu:

Thanks so much that worked!  I added a read only control and now that is the default.  If I go to Show As though, Calendar shows up which is good, but so does Read Only Grid 5 times now for some reason lol, but better than it was before.  Thanks!

    Hi psychobunny83,

From the linked document you provided, I found that you set the control at the View level, maybe you need check the control at the Entity level.

Go Settings > Customizations > Customize the system > Entities > Activity.

Go to the Controls area to make sure that only Read-only Grid (default) control added and there should be 3 columns to set for Web, Phone, and Tablet. You have to set all 3 next to the Grid control you added.

Also you need make sure that all activity views not add calendar control.

Finally, Save and publish all customizations.

I just wanted to add also that I even tried making a brand new view, picking all columns etc and it STILL shows it as a calendar.
