Hi everyone
I have a custom button on the dashboard which redirects to a view of Product entity (the URL of the view is hardcoded on the button).
I have Product entity on 2 locations on the sitemap. One in 'Sales' menu and one in 'Settings' menu.
When I click on the button I want it to redirect to Settings > Products. Is there a way to somehow control this?
P.S The URL of Sales > Products and Settings > Products are the same.
Thanks in advance.
Hi narek,
Yes. The URL of Sales > Products and Settings > Products are the same, so you can't achieve it through url.
From following screenshot, you can view ‘Sales’ area is above ‘Settings’ area in area menu.
If you want to redirect to Settings > Products through URL, you can exchange the order of two areas.
Go Apps to select the app and click 'Open in App Designer'
In App designer page, click pencil icon to open Sitemap Designer.
Drag the Settings area to the front of the Sales area.
Save and publish it.
Test:
Now, when i use URL, i can redirect to Settings > Products.

Leah Ju
