hey guys.
is there anyway to get/export a whole email (including attachments, etc), maybe in a *.msg or *.eml format, so i can then send it to a document management system?
the main goal i want to achieve is, as soon as a case/incident is closed, i send all the emails/documents related to that incident to a external application.
any help appreciated,
thanks in advance

You can probably do this using SSIS. Basically have a task to copy all emails and another task to copy all attachments. The attachments have the id of the email as one of their fields, so that you can place it in the right folder in your document management system.
I would use Kingswaysoft SSIS to read that data, and your target will have to be based on your Document Management system.
hey Aric.
the idea would be to use CRM Workflow or a custom Javascript, using CRM Web API, any thoughts on that?
regards
Surly you can use SDK to extract this information, check this sample code which should help you to work with attachments: docs.microsoft.com/.../sample-upload-retrieve-download-attachment
