Hello,
We are having trouble with links to PDFs in the Real Time Marketing Asset Library to use in our outbound marketing emails. Previously, we could add the hyperlink in real time marketing and it would open the PDF file in a web browser. Now, when we add a link to the file, it downloads it instead. Is there a way to change the behavior back so links to PDFs open instead of download?
Thanks,Ipek Gunenme
Hi,
What browser are you using?
If you use Edge, you can turn on these options. Now you can receive the Message alert box if you want to save a file or open it without saving.
Thanks for your reply. Let me better explain the issue. Previously in the Real Time Marketing Asset Library, you could select a file and it would provide you a Public URL. I could then use that URL to create a hyperlink in an email. When a user clicked the hyperlink in the email, it would open the PDF in the web browser. I no longer see the Public URL. Without that URL, the only option I see for linking to the file in the email is to use the "File download" option. Using this option, the link downloads the file instead of opening it in the browser. I am looking for a way to insert the hyperlink so it will open in the browser instead of downloading.
