I am fairly new to PowerBi. We are looking into embedding two Pbi reports in D365 using data entities. Previously Pbi user had created reports by exporting data from various list pages and inquiries and were only saved desktop pbi files.
Now that we want to embed these reports into D365, we would prefer to connect to D365 using entities. For most of the tables I have been able to find entity information by clicking on "open in Microsoft icon". However, I don't see any data entity listed when I look Budget Analysis inquiry and Outstanding Encumbrances inquiry. Do we need to create entities for these two inquiries?
