Hi,

I tried to upload a task recording to LCS, but I got the error

"There is no BPM library to populate the BPM tree".

Do I miss any set up on LCS?

Thanks,

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Yuji,

Read through this documentation and double check if you have followed the correct steps. Also make sure you are uploading an AXTR file.

Do we normally create a separate testing library on LCS or we can reuse the initial one?

    Hi Yuji,

There is no reason one shouldn't use different BPM's. Some times it is convenient to have multiple BPM's for different legal entities or business inside an organisation. You can create copy of the original one if you want to.

    Thanks,

    Manish

Should just be one BPM library or I will say don't duplicate your business process in BPM. Else you sync them and everything is now duplicate in DevOps etc. Manage BPM library properly and you should be good.

I am still not able to upload the recording to LCS. So I save the files as local files then upload to LCS. I am not sure just because I am using the cloud-hosted environments rather than Tier 1/Tier 2 environments.

Did you mean, unable to upload recording to LCS from task recorder menu in D365FO?

yes, not able to upload to LCS from task recorder menu.

Assuming that you have connected the LCS BPM and Help system.

you need to be logged in under the same tenant as the D365FO is registered to. For e.g if D365FO is registered to contoso.com, you should be logging in using yuji@contoso.com, instead if you are using a different tenant account like yuji@usmf.com it will not work.

All task recorder capabilities will function well if you are in the same tenant.
