Print management setup

Hello,

I want to use standard Print management option to send emails to Vendors with PO confirmation or inquiry.

On the print management setup I dont see any place where I can edit body of an email, make a template for it?

Does it mean the only way to send it is with Subject only, with attachment and without any content?

Also, is there an option to review email before it is sent or the only way is the automatic send?

Or is there any out of the box feature I should activate for this?

Kind regards,
I have the same question (0)

    Hi Layan,

I have checked it but I am not sure if I understood the final solution.
It looks like it requires customization, I would need a confirmation on this to be sure.

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

Yes, I can confirm that you can't set a template for email in the print management.
so I suggest you make a few customizations and dev to meet the requirement.

Also there are a solution has been developed docentric :

    Hi Phonix,

There is currently no option in the print management setup to define the email body for purchase confirmations.

However, I can suggest a workaround that doesn't require any customization, provided your customer agrees to it. You can create a workflow for purchase confirmations, set it to auto-approve, and define the email template with the body content. This way, an email will be triggered automatically once a purchase order is approved and confirmed.

    Best Regards,

    Hello all,

I have revisited this topic and I see the form in my test environment looks like below now.
I have not tested it yet but it does appear to allow entering email content.
I cannot say if this is part of a new feature or not, but I am surprised it is there now.
