Hi experts,
Trying to apply DB backup to my DEV environments but the DB size is 9GB and I cannot get it to download to my VM so I can apply it.
Repro steps: 1. navigate to internet explorer on the DEV VM you would like to apply the back up.2. Log into LCS and attempt to download the DB backup file from the asset library
What should I do? What are my options?

Can you please explain why you can't download it? 9 GB isn't that much.

The download just stalls and will not complete, I don't get any error message
I have seen that in IE on other large files from LCS (app/platform deployable packages). In that case pausing and resuming the download got it to continue.

backup file of 9GB is a bit strange. If you are using a demo database with around 15+ legal entities and all it's necessary setups and transactions makes around 2 GB backup file. Not sure if this your own AxDB with so much data in it.
Ensure that you have selected the option to "Compress backup" if this backup file is from another cloud-hosted environment.
Try to use some other browser such as Chrome or Edge. There is no general reason that would prevent you from downloading 9 GB, actually such file sizes are quite common as Martin said.
