Dynamics 365 app for Outlook and Shared Mailboxes

Hi,

 

I have noticed that although the ‘Dynamics 365 app for Outlook’ does not work with shared mailboxes from within Outlook 2016 (as expected), it does from the Outlook web app!

Does anyone know if this is new functionality, or is supported?
