Hi,
 
Electronic reporting ER import XML file error Cannot overwrite a version.
 
 
I have a requirement to copy an existing custom design and duplicate it and make some changes.
On doing export as xml file it exports an xml file however when I do load from xml file with the same file i am getting the error as 
"Can not override a version".
 
Can anyone please help me on this ?

    Hey,
     
    I guess you already created a configuration that has a draft version. In case you changed something on the draft version and then load from xml, it wont work. 
    The solution is the following:
     
    -If you have a completed version (in your configuration), then use the button "Get this version" (1) and then load the xml without changing anything in the draft version 
    -Alternatively, set your draft version to "Completed" (2) and load the xml to the newly created draft version.

    Hi,
    You can create a derived version from the following model and start applying the modifications you need. After making the modifications, you need to publish the model, which will update its status to "Completed."
