WHS R3 - can't cancel work - illegal splitting

Hello,

I have following issue - I receive LP with multiple items. AX creates a work with 1 pick line (to pick all the items from inbound dock) and multiple put lines (for each item/location). It seems OK to me. But I cannot cancel this work - I get error:

Illegal splitting
Transaction is financially closed and may not be split.
You may not split more than what is financially open.
Update has been canceled.

When I cancel the work, I want AX to cancel the registration on the purchase transaction also, so I have the parameter Unregister receipt when cancelling work = yes. 

I guess this is a bug, do you know of a fix for it? Or maybe a workaround?

    Did you find a solution for this.  We just went live and are encountering this issue.  during testing we were always able to cancel the work and unregister without any problem

    Hi,

    Were you able to resolve this issue? We're encountering this also. It has affected few PO's and user observed it happened when the system hangs. Then this split transaction into 2 works but same license plate (our LP is automatically generated).

    Well, sorry, but I can' t remember. I experienced this error in early stage of the project, before functional testing I think. Then we upgraded and I think it disappeared. For sure it was not happening after we went live.

    We were on R3 CU8 I believe we applied KB3092197 to correct the issue

    Thanks Ventsislav & SG. It's good input, We're running CU9 with some hotfix from CU10. We'll have this checked.
