I'm pretty sure your customer's real business requirement is something more than just having these few fields linked to sales orders.

Anyway you can look into the Transportation Management module and look what is available. There are also ISV solutions for transportation management - such as CAPcargo Transport&Logistics from our company.

    Hi Khaled,

Can you provide more information why you need that? What do you want to track with those data? Is this for analyzing internal freight/transportation costs or something else?

    Regards

    Ludwig

Then maybe you should just add new fields to your SO/PO tables and maintain the information per order.

Or you could even use some pre-existing fields (DocuRef for example).

You can record that information on an Appointment, if you are using 'Loads' in the Warehouse module.

If that is not an option, and if you don't need to report on the information, using Notes/Attachments/Document handling might be a perfectly acceptable solution.
