Create Roles For Individual Department

Hello There!! I would like to create different roles for individual department in Microsoft Dynamics Nav v4. All the users are superusers at the moment. What is required is to create users who have access to a specific department like Warehouse, Manufacturing etc. A role has been created named partial access where a specific menusuite is included. But seems like it is not working. Any idea or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Synchronize logins once you assign new roles and let us know what is not working.

    Thanks for answers. It is working now I guess. Actually I have created a new menusuite named 'Partner' where there are certain menus for a specific user. The new menusuite is 80 and there is a menusuite created earlier named 'Company'. When I assign the menusuite 80 to a user it asks for the menusuite which was created earlier. And one more thing when I assign a Table Data named 'Customers' to a department say Warehouse the same shows up in another department say Manufacturing. Can I limit it to only Warehouse??

    Hi,

    If you are talking about "Customers" function in the manufacturing, you may very well remove it by opening the Tools -> Navigation Pane Designer.
