the CRM Steps in Business central

Dears
    I hope everything is going well with all of you, 

I have two questions related to the built in CRM in Business central

the first one is: what are the steps of the CRM process, is it ( Contact then opportunity then quotation ) or there are another steps ?

the second one is : can we apply the Workfellow on the CRM process?

    Typical process is as you have described. Workflow is available for sales quotes and for customers. Other addition I would make is around tasks relating to the sales team. Very well explained here:

    Overall your process hits the hot spots and there a few more tools out there that will enhance the process.  The opportunity includes a sales cycle which includes sales cycle stages and activity codes.  The activity code ties back to the User Tasks.  The User Tasks are on the dashboard and include due dates.  With a little configuration you will be able to build a fairly comprehensive process.  It isn't D365 Sales, but it is a great foundational solution.
