    Hi Vinaydcd,

What deployable package are you trying to install on what version of Dynamics 365? Did you create the package yourself?

I have created own package using extention on AX 7, and now i want deploy this on other environment.

I created deployment package but getting error while running this command :

    AXUpdateInstaller.exe execute -runbookid=" AXDeployablePackage-runbook"

Did you follow the exact procedures as described in the next articles?

    - ax.help.dynamics.com/.../create-and-apply-a-deployable-package

    - ax.help.dynamics.com/.../installing-deployable-package-in-ax7

I can see only that you are trying to execute the runbook, but you haven't given information how you created the deployable package and what steps you did to execute the runbook.

Also note that the source and target environment should be the same version. If you have e.g. Update 1 on the source and Update 3 on the target environment, deployments will also fail.

I need to deploy custom package from development environment to other environment.

While manually deploying package to target environment it failed on execute -runbook command.

    Executing Step 3 :

Serialization version mismatch detect, make sure the runtime dlls are in sync with deployed metadata.

Version of file '159'. Version od dll '148'.

    How i can resolve this.

    Thanks.

    Hi Vinay,

In my previous reply I asked if the source and target environments were based on exactly the same version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations. There is a version mismatch error which is probably answering the question.

If the source and target environments are not the same, you should ensure you create a deployable package with the correct version.
