    Thanx Rudy :

i followed all the steps you mentioned, but unfortunately I still can't move the user to this specific BU. It's weird because I can move to any other BU.

    Hi,

We have analyzed the information you have provided and you have a general SQL error that can be caused by a variety of issues. Here are some common causes

    1. SQL Server timeout, SQL Server timeout may occur when changing the name field of a Microsoft Dynamics CRM user.

Please refer to the documentation at the following link
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/troubleshoot/dynamics/crm/timeout-administrator-changes-user-record

    2. User privilege issue, when you change the business unit of a user, all roles are removed. Ensure that you add roles to the user after changing the business unit.

We will continue to track this issue and if there is any progress, I will reply below.

Additionally, if this issue is having a serious impact on your business, we recommend that you use the link below to seek technical support from Microsoft.

I hope my answer is helpful to you! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Best Regards,
    Rudy Zhang
