Hello experts,

In the BC admin center, is there a way to limit only certain users to have Business Central admin center role permission for certain environments?  We have about 10-12 environments and we need to limit only certain users to access those environments.
I have the same question (0)

You can control which users have access to specific environments, and you can also control who has access to the Admin Center. However, as far as I know, it's not possible to limit a user's access in the Admin Center to only manage certain environments, it's all or nothing.

    Hello dear,

As far as I know, by creating a new permission set that has the right permissions for each group of users will prevent them to enter the admin center.
    Best Regards,

    Hi,

I think you can filter based on the below.

    1. Security group assigned
2 Super user or admin permissions in Business Central
    3. Company filters defined in the permission set
    4. Partner access is available but not a practical solution

Standard is only 1 or 2 IT admin maintain the Business Central admin central to avoid errors

    Thanks
    Ramesh

    Hello,

You can control access to environments by managing user groups and permissions within each environment separately. This means you would need to set up permissions for each user in each environment individually to restrict access as needed.

You can also use Azure Active Directory (AAD) groups to manage user access across different environments. By assigning users to specific AAD groups and then linking those groups to the appropriate environments in Business Central, you can better manage who has access to which environments.
