Tracking Referals

Hello everyone,

I have been asked to implement a system within my business where we are able to track internal referrals. Has any one got any tips or training documents available for this?

I appreciate that you can create leads and then assign to someone else and create views of this, but I am wondering if this is the best way to do this or is it better practice to use connections?
