Adding methods in a data entity extension

Hello Community,

I am creating an extension based on the vendInvoiceRegisterLineEntity, except when I right click on methods froms the extension dataEntity, i don't see the option 'override Method' or ' new Method'

Might you please telling how would you add new method on an existing entity?

You can not add any method on extension directly. You have to create extension class for that entity

[ExtensionOf(tablestr(LedgerJournalEntity)]

final class ledgerJournalEntity_extension

{

}

Thank you! Now its throwing these compile errors.

[AxDataEntityViewExtension/CustCustomerV2Entity.Extension/ViewMetadata/DataSources/CustTable/DataSources/DefaultDimensionDAVS/Table]:Table 'DimensionSetEntity' does not exist.

DimensionSetEntity table exists in the AOT.

Make sure you have a reference to the package containing DimensionSetEntity.

No. But your model must have a reference to the package where DimensionSetEntity is.
