call a function in sub form

I want to call a function in the subform. I tried

currPAGE.CheckLineList.form.filterpage(OnHold,type,Status,CustomerCode,CheckDate);

but I am getting an error on the form variable. Is there any other way to do it ?

(Dynamics nav 2015)
