Anyone know if this functionality should be working in the New Schedule Board?
We are set up for Morning/Afternoon 'slots' (Time Group Details) and in the Old Schedule Board these are displayed. But having installed the latest version in Wave 2 which includes Schedule Assist the functionality doesn't seem to work. The columns in the list view don't even appear (as they do in the old one)
Am I wasting my time looking for something that hasn't been released??

Do you mean the feature in the following screenshot?
If yes, it is indeed not shown in the New Schedule Board.
But there is no relevant documentation about the update.
You could consider to raise a ticket to MS for further help.
