Hello,

We are trying to build an integration with Dynamics 365 Business Central and need to extract the General Ledger or Trial Balance data broken down by Department.

However, when using the General Ledger or Trial Balance API, we do not see any Department information being returned. We have been able to create reports of the Trial Balance by Department, how can I extract this via API?

Any feedback appreciated.

Thanks

For version 2 of the api you’re able to use $expand=dimensionSetLines. This is assuming that you have department code as a dimension
