Hi Everyone

I would like to create a view from table, and the condition was (user7=''') in SQL.

May i know how to add this condition to my view datasource? Is it add a range or any other advice?

I had tried to add the sysquery::emtystring() command but i dunno where to place it.

Please advice

Thank You

Best Regards

Kuan Yi

If you look inside SysQuery::valueEmptyString(), you will see it simply returns "" (quotes). That's what you can use as the value of your range.

Two dots are used for a range of values (e.g. 1..10 for "one to ten").

Navigate the view object from AOT, in Metadata node, open the data source and add new ranges.

In Range property, select the field in Field property and put two dot ".." in Value property. In Dynamics AX, two dot ".." is the same as empty string in filtering.
