Setup For Item reservation for FEFO

Hi All,

I am using Axapta 2012 R2.

I will take items into inventory by using Batch No’s, with expiry dates.

After posting Sales order picking list, I want to do the manual reservation from shipment form in Inventory and warehouse management\Common\Shipments.

Can anyone please share with me the required setups to achieve this .

Please help me with some suggestions.

    first of all set the Item Dimension group having Batch no enabled and primary for physical update

    For manual SO inventory reservation you have one option under sales Line to set the reservation option as Manual.

    This will help you manage your requirement.

    Hi Satish,

    Firstly after posting of SO picking list no item reservation can be done as the item is already picked.

    Secondly, If you wanted to use item reservation using FEFO, you would need to check the "FEFO date-controlled" checkbox in the Inventory model group. You must make the reservation as "automatic" in AR params for it to see in action. Once above is done, if you are creating a SO for batch controlled item, system will auto reserve inventory based on the latest expiry date for the available batches.
