Hi all,
Can someone tell me which method is used to compress the data in the ITP_OPM_XMLDOCARCHIVE table, in the XMLCOMPRESSED column? The SQL compress/decompress function does not render valid XML.
Before asking: why do you want to directly look into this table? I, as DBA, want to see if we can at least investigate how to make it smaller, and possibly anonymize data for GDPR compliance. I have already successfully removed data from ITP_OPM_EMAILOUT where we found complete emails with very broad HTML/CSS, and the resulting table is now less than 10% of the original size. The table was quickly becoming the largest table in the database.

Are you sure this is a standard table? The name sounds like a customization. If so, we can't tell you how your customization works. You'll need to look into application code.
