Integration Manager journal import from user folder

Hello,
I hope somebody can help with this issue.
Currently our users create Journal files that are stored in their home drive. So everybody's files are separate. Integration manager just points to the H drive that is unique to the user.
We want to move the location that the files are retrieved from from the H drive to a shared folder.
I can get the files to be created in a folder in the shared drive, with the users name as the folder, ie. j://GP//joeshmo & j://gp//moshmo instead of just h:
Is there a way that Integration Manager can be configured to look at j://gp//username (this is different for every user)? Is it possible to put a variable in to the Integration Manager configuration.
Just trying to get ahead of some planned work in the next few months.

Thanks,
Matt

By default, the location of the IMD/MDB file is set for each user/workstation.  This can be difficult to manage.

You can change the behavior to be by workstation (so you don't have to configure it each time there is a new user on a workstation) with a switch for each of the two Integration Manager INI files.  Here is a link to the Learning topic:

    Hi Matt,
the suggestion Lisa made is valid when you try to use different IM.mdb files for each users.. but I don't think that the purpose of your question..

I'd rather wonder what version of GP are you on ? Since GP 2018, you can use Excel to copy / paste GL JE transaction directly into GP.. no need to use IM or other kind of integration anymore.

Check this video about Excel copy / past for GL JE .
