    Hi,

If you are a developer, you may check the "Copy Document Mgt." codeunit, you will get a fair idea about how the copy functionality is managed.

For Customizing Copy Document on Transfer Orders as others are suggesting, how can it be done?

    Hi,

As mentioned by others, there's no standard functionality so far.  You may need to customize.

Better you go for customization, as Copy Paste may not help, when you have transfer order partially shipped or received and would start creating problem(s).

You may still check the possibilities of COPY from NAV > Paste in EXCEL > Do the Modification in Excel > COPY from Excel > Paste in NAV.. Off-course, this is bit tedious and hence better to go for small development, if you have frequent need of this functionality.

Also, copy and paste would not work, if you want to copy from posted transfer shipments / receipts.

You can plan for the development in such a way that, you can copy the transfer order from existing transfer order or posted transfer shipment / receipt documents.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey db.cortez,

Copy Document - Sales Order is a standard functionality which comes inbuilt with Dynamics NAV, if you want the same then you need to do a customization specifically for Transfer Order. Copy Paste you can do for lines but header you will need manual entry.

It is not possible in standard functionality to copy to new transfer orders from posted ones. You can try to copy rows from one order to another by ctrl-c function, if it helps you.
